Following the model established last year in Atlanta, GA, this year’s symposium will feature more than eight hours of panels, readings and signings, with additional Friday night readings (included in membership) and other opportunities for continuing the conversation and socializing. Limited to 75 attendees. However, all programming will be featured on The Outer Dark weekly podcast which airs on This Is Horror, reaching thousands of listeners who are readers of Weird and speculative fiction. As with the podcast, our goal is to assemble a diverse slate of program participants to foster a groundbreaking and global discussion digging deep into The Weird.

The all-inclusive membership for The Outer Dark Symposium is $125 (through January 31, 2018; $150 thereafter, if any memberships remain). Your ticket INCLUDES the Friday night readings (details to be announced soon) and a full day of programming (10 am- 10 pm) at the Winchester Mystery House, including meals (continental breakfast/coffee, sandwich box lunch, post-symposium signing reception and buffet dinner), as well as a tour of the Winchester Mystery House ($40 value). The reception and buffet dinner will have a cash bar. We have discussed vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options with the Winchester’s caterer, and we will be conducting a member survey about food preferences and dietary restrictions. The membership price is based solely and tightly on the cost of renting space and catering at Winchester Mystery House with no profit to either The Outer Dark or our host, This Is Horror.
